Gulfstream Technologies, Inc. has been served South Florida since 1996 and now South Texas since 2005.

Gulfstream Technologies was founded by Steve Weingart after 18 years with IBM as a contractor and employee, 15 of those years at IBM's T. J. Watson Research Center. Gulfstream Technologies was a key player in the design and validation of the world's first FIPS 140-1 level 4 validated device (the IBM 4758 Secure Coprocessor).
